It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Greenwoods, a 4 star resort located at Thekkady in Kerala, home to the Periyar Tiger Reserve, South India's most visited sanctuary.

What gives me greater pleasure, apart from being your host while you are here, is the feeling that with your visit, the environment and forests that we invest to protect will be protected for a further 100 years, thanks to your contribution as a ecological friendly tourist.

At Greenwoods, we have wedded ourselves to two issues mainly, one, providing exemplary service to our guests and two, keeping the environment better than when we stepped into it. I take this opportunity to promise you that we will follow both these high ideals; deliver exemplary service to you while you are here and also contribute from our income to keep the environment more `green' than when we found it. We are committed to offer more value to the money spend by the guest and we are trying our best to ensure that the guest gets more than he expected from us.

To keep service levels exceptionally high we have invested in an employee – guest ratio which is the highest in Thekkady, far above normal hotel norms and to better the environment we live in, we have consciously maintained out trees, often planting new ones wherever and whenever possible.
