The accommodation at Greenwoods is comfortable, cosy and comes with state of the art amenities. Rooms are divided into three categories- Aranya, Kanana and Rithika. All rooms are equipped with a mini bar, tea/coffee maker, satellite television, complimentary mineral water, Wi-Fi, direct dialing facility, complimentary newspaper and toilet kit. They are furnished with comfortable King Sized Beds with soft mattresses. All rooms have a study table with mirror, a tea table with two armchairs and a wooden wardrobe with hangers along with a neatly laid out, spacious bathroom.
All rooms have a small porch/balcony which is a great place to stretch oneself and enjoy the surroundings through the day.)
All rooms are largely similar in size and shape with the exception of Rithika. Rithika, which is a honeymoon villa, is exclusive and private. They are set as separate units with a plunge pool attached to the cottage. It is fully stocked with the finest amenities and the attached pool revitalizes your tired body and mind with a plunge after a long day.
Vanya, or The Tree House, is at a distance about 4 kms from the resort, lies on an 8 acre plot on the fringes of the Periyar Tiger Reserve and is a standalone accommodation atop a tree. Accessible only by a trek and powered by solar and wind power, Vanya is perhaps the best destination for the adventurer in you. The panoramic view of the forest and nearby hills and valleys from 2000 feet height off sea level makes the experience exhilarating. At Vanya, apart from you and the trees and animals that make the forest their home, you have a Man Friday at your beck and call through your stay. He is a wildlife trained guard with excellent cooking skills, to ensure that you feel safe all the time you are there!
