Fact Sheet on Vanya Tree House: Vanya Tree House is located 4 Kilometres away from Greenwoods Resort, Thekkady
- From Greenwoods Resort, you are taken in a 4X4 Jeep and then you have to trek 01 Kilometres up to reach the Tree House, which is located in Forest Ambiance.
- The terrain is 3000 feet height from sea level with panoramic view of surrounding Forests, Hills and Valleys.
- There are no other habitations for miles or views
- Food is served from Butler Home which is situated close to the tree house. There is 2 staff in Butler Home exclusively at your service
- Power is supplied by Solar Panel and Wind Mill.
- You need to sign a consent letter before you go for the trekking. It’s mandatory as per the government rules.
- Food will be served in mud utensils.
- We will be providing the traditional and locally available food items to you. All the food items are vegetarian.
- As to hold tradition we are providing only bath powder and enja for the bathing.
- Brushing kit contains charcoal of paddy husk, neem stem and coconut leaf stem.
- Tree house is equipped with toilet which is Indian Water Closet instead of European Water Closet
- You are not allowed to get out of the tree house after 7 o clock.
- You can ask for hot water and it will be served to you at the room.
- We will be arranging a camp fire for you at night.
- We will be arranging a border hiking for you at vanya.
